ROBIN LOWEY

Speaker, author, filmmaker, and queer historian, Robin Lowey seeks to elevate the discourse in our country about the role lesbian history plays in advancing LGBTQ+ civil rights and social equity. Robin is the author of Game Changers: Lesbians You Should Know About. Now in its second printing, Game Changers won best LGBTQ+ book in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards. As a pioneering queer parent and an activist, Robin’s work focuses on LGBTQ+ achievements that have advanced a more inclusive society, while seeking to address the unmet educational needs of a culture that continues to oppress queer people.

An award-winning graphic designer and writer, Robin is the founder of Epochalips.com and has served as Editor-in-Chief since 2010. Her writing has appeared in The Advocate, Lesbian.com and Epochalips.com among other publications. Honored in Go Magazine’s 100 Women We Love issue, Robin was a featured guest at Talks at Google and the Michelle Meow Show on The CW Network. She is a member of the LGBT Speakers Bureau. Robin’s work donating 300 Game Changers books to local Bay Area schools was covered on CBS news during their Pride Special Report.

HEIDI FULLER
Communications Advisor

Heidi is a communications strategist who guides businesses, nonprofits, and documentaries through market challenges and growth opportunities. She served as director of communications for a Midwest hospital network and specialized in strategic planning for an East Coast public relations agency before moving to Silicon Valley to launch tech start-ups.

In 2001, she started her own communications agency in the Bay Area to make content and technology work better, faster, and easier for companies transitioning to digital media marketing. Heidi has contributed her services to public schools, public policy campaigns, adult literacy programs, and health science documentaries. A native New Yorker, Eliza grew up surrounded by creativity with a famous photographer father and Vogue editor mother.  While living in Singapore and Amsterdam for 10 years, she developed a photography business. Her love of photography soon segued into filming and editing short films. She focuses on non-profits like Lesbian Game Changers and There With Care. JOANNA MARPLE

Besides being a full-time librarian at the French American International School in San Francisco, Joanna is a children's and YA writer and an international educator. She is committed to helping raise a generation of global citizens, who don't just tolerate, but who support and champion diversity. She has taught Kindergarten through to young adults with equal enthusiasm. KRISTEN LEVINE
Educational Consultant

Kristen Levine "teaches the next generation to do the right thing." As a human rights educator, Kristen shares her knowledge of global and local social justice issues recognizing not only the symptoms of injustice, but also the systemic factors which cause them. She taught Social Justice and Ethics at San Domenico High School from 2005 to 2020, articulating these concepts through dynamic engaging real-life lessons. In her classes, Kristen deploys the Harkness Method of student-led, student-centered discussions to explore complex issues such as racial justice, immigration, poverty, globalization, human trafficking, and capital punishment. While placing high expectations on her students, Kristen offers them age-appropriate level of freedom and accountability.

BRAD LYMAN

Brad Lyman has specialized in Investment Managers' Technology & Data for over 20 years. He graduated from UPenn's Wharton School with a focus on Accounting & Finance. Brad has managed IT resources, data, solutions & vendors at global financial leaders. Brad grew up in Connecticut and is thankful for the LGBT role models he had with teachers and friends of his family. He enjoys volunteering with LGBT, education, neighborhood and animal rescue groups.
